The Guatemalan Deputy Foreign Minister visited New York yesterday and spent a bit of time meeting with local Guatemalan citizens. US Ambassador Stephen McFarland has said that the Obama Administration’s response to Guatemala’s TPS request will be “Thoughtful and Quick,” according to a report in Prensa Libre (link is in Spanish).
